Champions League T20 So Far... Home Sweet Home...

We have just passed the third day of the Champions League T20 and the fifth game, but it was clear that South African teams and South African players in the other teams are doing great in their home soil. South African domestic Twenty20 runner up, Highveld Lions created a shock in the very first game by beating star studded Mumbai Indians team. Then Their T20 Champions, Warriors beat Sri Lanka's Wayamba Eleven team which has many international names including veteran batsman Mahela Jayawardena. Lions lost their second game against South Australia, but it was a close game.
Then South African all rounder Albie Morkel gave good contribution for his team to beat New Zealand's Central District team. But so fat the best result from a South African player came in yesterday's game between Royal Challengers Bangalore and Guyana. Jacques Kallis took three wickets for sixteen and then he scored unbeaten forty three runs in thirty two balls. South African fast bowler Dale Steyn is also did reasonably well though not exceptional. With All these it seems this time Champions League Twenty20 is a good one for the home teams and players so far.
